Kav Medida performed all the mapping and surveying services in the Ir Yamim neighborhood, a new neighborhood where 2200 housing units within the city of Ashkelon were built over an area of approximately 260 dunams (dunam = 1,000 sq meters).

The 'City of Days' neighborhood is a new neighborhood that is expected to be built in the northwest portion of Ashkelon - very close to the Mediterranean Sea. According to the plans, it will include a hotel and recreation complex in the western section, while the eastern area will be designated for residential use. The residential area in the neighborhood will mainly include 8-story buildings. The plans permit the construction of a 30-story residential building in the center of the neighborhood, and a small number of detached houses to the east. This project will join a series of additional projects that will eventually add about 20,000 housing units, over a million square meters of industrial space, another urban transportation center that includes a train station combined with a bus terminal, a city park with an area composed of 700 dunams, and a large-scale transportation development.
